Desir du Coeur is a complex, long-lasting fragrance with a strong presence and highly personal scent experience. It opens with a crisp lemon zest note, evolves through rich aromatic spices, and settles into a deeply musky, amber-laden dry down that carries a hint of woody, animalic depth reminiscent of oud. The fragrance is notably leathery and sweet, leaning into a very soft, dense muskiness that some compare to Baccarat or Kirke, while others find it closer in character to BR540 Extrait due to its amber-sweetness and warmth. Its performance is outstanding—lasting over 24 hours on fabric and often exceeding 10 hours on skin, especially in warm climates where the sweetness is balanced. The sillage is potent and immediate, making it a true beast mode fragrance that is felt in the space around the wearer. It is best worn in the evening and in colder months, where its depth and longevity shine. Due to its intense projection and long hold, even one spritz is sufficient, and over-application causes anosmia.
