Iris Malika is a deeply layered, modern oriental with a velvety, balsamic core that feels both luxurious and enigmatic. It opens with a rich, syrupy burst of wild berries—pink pepper, blackberry, and nuanced cherry liqueur—that lingers as a bold, playful top note. The heart is built around a refined, powdery iris: smooth, sweet, and well-integrated, never dusty or dry. The scent shifts seamlessly into a warm, woody-balsamic base with benzoin, tonka, and patchouli, giving it depth and a certain nocturnal allure. While the iris note is present early on, it’s not dominant—instead, it blends into the broader narrative of gourmand-woody elegance. The fragrance feels cohesive, mysterious, and layered, reminiscent of both Velvet Orchid Lumiere and, for some, Van Cleef & Arpels Moonlight Patchouli, though with more fruit and less mint. It wears well into the night and projects moderately, balancing sensuality with subtle sophistication.
