Magnificat is a deeply warm, resinous amber fragrance with an intense gourmand core of cotton candy, vanilla, and balsamic sweetness. It opens with a soft, powdery rose and ylang-ylang, quickly evolving into a rich, smoky amber heart layered with incense and sandalwood. The dry down reveals a deeply textured base of patchouli, benzoin, musk, and vanilla, delivering a luxurious, velvety depth that feels both opulent and intimate. While many note an elegant sweetness reminiscent of candied caramel and bergamot, others describe a surprisingly restrained gourmand character—balanced and not overly sweet. Scent projections are most potent night time or in cold weather, with long, lingering wear and moderate to enormous sillage that clings closely to the skin. The fragrance carries an almost regal, ceremonial presence—evoking ancient shrines, cathedral spaces, or a dark velvet evening gown. It is widely perceived as unisex, though more comfortable and natural on men in colder climates, and grows deeply personal with repeated wear.
